Bourns Releases New AEC-Q200 Compliant, Automotive GradeHigh Operating Temperature Semi-shielded

Riverside, California – June 22, 2023 – Bourns Magnetics Product Line is introducing the new AEC-Q200 compliant, automotive grade Model SRN8040HA Series Semi-shielded Power Inductors. Constructed with a magnetic-silica coating to the perimeter of the inductor winding to provide effective shielding, these inductors release lower magnetic field radiation compared to non-shielded inductors and are a more costefficient alternative to fully shielded ferrite-based inductors. The Model SRN8040HA Series is designed to meet a broad operating temperature range from -40 to +150 °C and features high operating temperature capabilities. These inductors are well suited for DC-DC converters and power supplies in automotive, consumer, industrial, and telecom electronics applications in which higher inductor reliability may be required.
